An update from Worcestershire County Council:
Monday 28th October (evening of)
The eastbound nearside lane of Hams Way on the approach to Powick Roundabout is being closed until Christmas. The implementation of this restriction will take place overnight on 28th October and there will be no need to close Hams Way. This restriction is required to provide space to carry out work to widen the eastbound approach to the Powick Roundabout.
Monday 4th November – Sunday 10th November (evenings of)
Crookbarrow Way will be closed in both directions for up to 7 nights between 9pm and 6am. A diversion will be signposted via London Road/Sidbury/Bath Road and vice versa (with an alternative route for high-sided vehicles as usual). This closure is principally to realign the eastbound carriageway to accommodate the footway and cycle path and to carry out surfacing work.
A letter-drop will be carried out to residential properties near to Crookbarrow Way (including those on Brockhill Lane) as some of the work may be noisy, although our contractor will do their best to minimise this.
Broomhall Way needs to be closed overnight eastbound only on 5th November. A diversion will be signed via Bath Road/Sidbury/London Road for through traffic with a secondary diversion for local traffic only. Norton Roundabout will be open for traffic travelling between St Peters Drive/Norton Road/Broomhall Way (west). This closure is to carry out surfacing work which is not expected to be unduly noisy for residents as they are some distance away and it is not therefore proposed to carry out a residential letter-drop.
